Health and fitness have always been important to me. I have come into the fitness industry from a dance background. I used to teach Salsa and Belly Dancing and created my fitness business to help motivate others to find their love of fitness.

I am a friendly, enthusiastic and encouraging instructor who welcomes all fitness levels and abilities in my classes. I pride myself on offering fun, reasonably-priced, high-quality fitness classes. I believe fitness should be fun and make you feel great.

I feel very lucky to be able to motivate and help people with their fitness journey. I love my job and I am always keen to learn new skills.

About My Class

Fitsteps: is just one of the dance fitness classes that I offer. Fitsteps is a unique dance fitness class that is based around Latin and Ballroom dance. Each dance genre has specific steps matched to it and I choreograph my routines so that varying degrees of intensity are offered, making my classes suitable and achievable for everyone, no matter what age, gender or previous experience.

Every class includes eight routines and I change one routine a week to keep things fresh. There will always be a warm up and cool down in each session because exercising safely is a priority of mine. I offer different options of varying intensity so that the workout suits your fitness level. I break down the steps and add some dance technique but the emphasis is on fitness. It is a bonus that you actually learn to dance! If you enjoy watching ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ then this is the class for you!

Personal Training: Exercise and fitness should be designed to fit your needs. I pride myself on taking the time to really get to know each of my clients so that I can design a personalised plan to match your goals which you will thoroughly enjoy. I offer a mobile personal training service to fit your lifestyle. I train women of all fitness levels (including pre/post natal clients) to help them lead a fitter and healthier lifestyle. I could rave on about Michelle's Fitsteps classes for hours but in a nutshell, they are fun, motivating, make your body feel free and alive, safe, for all levels, interesting, good for both cardio and strength, totally sustainable and did I say fun?! As for Michelle, she is truly one of the nicest people you will ever meet, so welcoming and patient and she really knows her stuff so you can be sure of a good safe workout to great music that just leaves you feeling fantastic. Over 2 years in and I still get excited going to class- thank you Michelle, you totally revived my love of exercising
