Ippon Judo London

I have been practising judo for over twenty years. I have been a member of the British Judo Squad at Cadet, Junior and Senior level representing the nation on many occasions since the age of 14.

In January 2017, I launched Ippon Judo LONDON. We now have nearly 300 students. We teach from ages five years to adult in a variety of venues from village halls to some of the most prestigious schools in the area.

Providing for judoka from novice to Dan grade, we tutor and support all abilities, from the recreational player to those wishing to hone their skills in a competitive environment.

About Our Class

Judo is a grappling martial art and an Olympic sport. Judo means the “gentle way” as there is no kicking or striking involved. It is one of the safest contact sports. Judo caters for everyone and is a great way to keep fit and healthy as important life skills are taught in a fun, exciting and positive environment.

Every class is structured and incorporates age appropriate activities, co-ordination exercises as well as basic judo techniques. All improve physical literacy and positive mental attitude. These skills help judoka become focused students, better listeners, and more confident and ambitious individuals.

In the near future, we are hoping to open a new adults’ class and a ladies only judo session. If you’re interested, please get in touch on ipponjudolondon@aol.com.
