Emma is a qualified group exercise instructor with experience in designing, developing and delivering exercise classes. Exercises classes are all via Zoom and are designed to get maximum results in a short amount of time with classes lasting about 30 minutes and are ideal for anyone no matter what their abilities.
Classes aim to work all the major muscle groups as well as increasing aerobic fitness through short high impact cardio routines and body conditioning. All levels are catered for from complete beginners through to seasoned exercisers with both low and high impact options being offered throughout each class.
Emma Goode is a qualified freelance Exercise Instructor and a member the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sports and Physical Activity (CIMSPA). Emma says:
‘I was never particularly fit as a child as I had asthma, and I was always using it as an excuse not to engage in exercise. Since graduating from Uni, I found that the weight started to pile on especially when I moved to a more sedentary desk based job. It was through a local slimming group that I started to do exercise again, small amounts at first and then building up. I discovered I actually enjoyed doing exercise! I am not a fan of the gym but I like to participate in exercise classes and preferred physical activity where I am part of a team or class as I particularly enjoy the social interaction. I found that understanding what I enjoyed helped to push me forward, and become a fitter person than I have ever been before. I have been able to return to playing netball, a game I am very passionate about.
I am an approachable and enthusiastic instructor who is always willing to help clients become the best they can be and help them on their fitness journey. Fitness should be something you enjoy (and not a punishment for eating cake!), I am keen to help people find physical activity they enjoy so they can lead healthier, more active lives.’
