My goal is to help people, whatever their age and fitness level, to experience how Pilates can help us move better and consequently feel better. Pilates is suitable for just about anyone!
Years of sitting hunched over a computer in my corporate job had left me with neck and back pain, but the improvement I saw with regular Pilates practice inspired me to switch career and train as an instructor myself with Body Control Pilates.
I count myself lucky to be doing something that I love and find it really rewarding to see people progress and feel the benefits for themselves. I make sure that I offer lots of options in class so that everyone can feel the right level of challenge for their own bodies (we’re all different!), and we make use of small props such as resistance bands and balls to provide variation and an extra challenge. As well as focusing on good technique and precision of movement, I also like to make sure that we have fun in class!
