Hello! I’m Andrea and I live in London. I’ve been a ZIN™ Member since Aug 2016 and I absolutely love teaching Zumba classes. I first saw Zumba on infomercials but could not find any classes. I have always loved dancing and also like Latin music, so I was immediately interested. I did dance lessons when I was younger and I was lucky enough to do some teaching and performing. When Zumba classes started to pop up in England, I took classes but never thought I would end up teaching again. Now I love teaching Zumba. If you don’t enjoy traditional exercise classes, give Zumba a try. The reason is simple: Every class feels like a party! Zumba is uplifting, accessible and a great, fun way to keep fit. I am currently licensed to teach Zumba. Come join me at our low pressure, friendly class, I guarantee you will have a blast! Got questions, don’t hesitate to drop me a message!
I try to keep the price low to make my class accessible to people. My class is Inclusive; I have a range of ages and ability attend my classes. There is a mix of music styles, Soca, Pop, R&B with an emphasis on the Zumba core rhythms (Cumbia, Merengue, Salsa and Reggaeton). The class is fun and energetic.
Zumba in De House (on Zoom platform)
The class will be 35 mins, medium intensity. You don’t need a big space but make sure you are not going to hit anything. If you have health issues or an injury adjust or do low impact as with a regular class. Wear footwear that you would for a regular class. Be aware of not exercising in socks or bare feet, to protect your joints and back. If you feel unwell take a break and drink water. I am not there to see you, so you have to be mindful and listen to your body. To join the class, click on the link or copy and paste it into your browser. You don’t have to download the Zoom app if using a desktop/laptop computer. Once you have clicked on the link the app will ask you to open. Click on ‘join with computer sound’. You can choose to have your camera on or off. You will be able to see me whichever one you choose but if you don’t want to be seen by everyone you can choose to switch off the camera on your device when you join the class. If you are using a smartphone, download the Zoom app first then follow the steps above. You can connect an external speaker to your device for a better experience. The music should play through your speaker. Please mute your microphone when you join. Chrome browser may work better with Zoom. Also having your device as close as possible to your Wi-Fi router will give you a better-quality stream. Enjoy the class.
I found your class to be fun, no pressure to get steps right and to just do what you can to the best of your ability. You regularly change the routines to keep the lessons fresh, the price is good.
Having tried various exercise classes i.e. the gym, running club and yoga, none of these inspired me to keep going every week.
When I started your Zumba classes, I felt really good, there was no pressure, all I had to do was turn up do the best I can and enjoy myself.
Everything was going downhill fast and I needed something that I could enjoy to the point of forgetting I am exercising. I found
this in Zumba. Because there is not pressure and you cater for all abilities there is no embarrassment in getting it wrong and at the end of the class I leave feeling much more alive and physically stronger than when I arrived.
Hopefully you like what you see on my page and would like to take part in my class – I’d love for you to join me!
